Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
Chili is major of the spicy and hot taste which are the one of distinct flavor of Thai dishes.
Chilly comes in many forms: fresh, dried, in pastes and in sauces. It has a wide range of extremely fiery to very mild. Chili sauce can be used for both flavoring and dipping in variety of dishes. Other ingredients such as onions, and ginger provide the taste of the hot and spicy as well.
Chili sauce (Sauce Prik) is thick and red. It contains chopped red chilies and garlic. It is used in many popular Thai dishes such as Rock Red Cod with Chili Sauce (Pla Kao Ladd Prik) and Grilled Chicken (GaiYang).
Sweet Chili Sauce (Nam Jim Gai) is less spicy. It has a much fruitier flavor then chili sauce. It can be used with mentioned food as chili sauce including pizza, meatballs and burgers.
